By using www.righost.com (the “Site”) or the command-line scripts we publish, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Use at your own risk

RigHost is a free informational tool. The compatibility score we return is an estimate based on publicly documented requirements for GPU hosting platforms. You use the Site and our scripts at your own risk.

No warranty of acceptance

A high score on RigHost does not guarantee that Vast.ai, RunPod, or any other GPU hosting platform will accept your hardware as a host. Those platforms set their own criteria, run their own verification, change their requirements without notice, and may reject hardware that technically meets every stated minimum for reasons unrelated to hardware (location, payout risk, queue balance, etc.). A low score does not guarantee rejection either. Treat our result as a useful pre-check, not a ruling.

No affiliation

RigHost is not operated by, affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Vast.ai, RunPod, NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, or any other named platform or hardware vendor. Trademarks referenced on the Site belong to their respective owners and are used only for descriptive purposes.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to:

• Send automated or abusive traffic to our API endpoints or web pages beyond the stated rate limits;
• Attempt to break, probe, or bypass security controls on the Site;
• Resell, relabel, or embed the scoring output in a way that claims affiliation with RigHost;
• Use the Site to coordinate fraud against a third-party hosting platform.

We may rate-limit or block IP addresses, user agents, or networks that we believe are abusing the Site. We do not owe advance notice before blocking abusive traffic.

Intellectual property

The Site’s design, copy, and scoring logic are © 2026 RigHost, a project of PassiveStrategies. The shell scripts we publish (including check.sh and any RunPod sibling) are provided under a permissive, MIT-style license for personal, non-commercial inspection and use: you may read, run, fork, and modify them, provided you do not remove the copyright and disclaimer notices and do not claim we endorse your derivative. The scripts are provided as is, without warranty of any kind.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RigHost, PassiveStrategies, and their contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or the scripts, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Site is limited to US $50.

Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally must be brought in a state or federal court of competent jurisdiction in that state.

Changes

We may update these terms as the Site evolves. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
